Where Should Your Factory Start?
Choose SMB, MES Lite, or full MES based on your rollout scope. We’ll confirm the right fit during the demo.

SMB (Smart Machine Box)
Start with Machine Visibility
Automatically capture running, downtime, output, and utilization data—ideal for starting with machine data.

Start with One Key Process
Integrate shop-floor reporting, work order progress, dashboards, and daily reports for key processes such as injection molding.

Connect Multi-Stage Production
Integrate work orders, station check-in/out, quality, molds, machines, and reports for end-to-end tracking.

From Paper-Based Reporting to Real-Time Production Visibility
Illustrative manufacturing scenario based on common shop-floor challenges.
Before | Teams checked work order progress by phone and paper, investigating problems only after they occurred.
Solution | Connected machine data, shop-floor reporting, and production dashboards with unified progress tracking and alerts.
After | Teams can see machine status, output, and work order progress in real time while reducing duplicate data entry.
One Work Order Connects the Entire Shop Floor
Machine Data → Work Orders & Scheduling → Shop-Floor Reporting → Production Dashboards
MES connects the core workflow, with QMS, WMS, and mold management added as needed.

Digitize first-article, in-process, and outgoing inspections. Trace exceptions back to the work order, batch, and machine.

Link receiving, issuing, stocktaking, and transfers with barcodes and storage locations. Check where materials are and how much remains.

Manage maintenance, repairs, locations, and production history in one place, with proactive shot-count and service-life alerts.
MES Lite — One Key Process
Manage one key process such as injection molding. Select the machine and work order, start production, and let machine connectivity capture output automatically.
Track quantities, progress, and yield in real time with color-coded dashboards that highlight problems. Generate daily and progress reports automatically.

Machine Data Collection
Automatically record power-on, running, downtime, and shutdown periods. Calculate utilization without manual logs.
Read cycle times, shot counts, and parameters through machine protocols, or use I/O signals for older machines. Send idle and exception alerts to the team, with historical status and utilization charts.
Sunstige MES Manufacturing Execution System
For products that pass through molding, machining, inspection, assembly, and packaging, full MES manages the complete route. Record quantities, yield, operators, and time at each station.
Manage master data, process routes, work orders, dispatching, and scheduling. Operators report work on tablets and access parameters, SOPs, and drawings. Machine and mold maintenance stay in the same system.
Live dashboards and automatic reports give planners, operators, and managers the information they need. Unsure whether you need Lite or full MES? Bring your production flow to a 30-minute demo.

Visual Production Scheduling
Visualize work orders and production lots on a Gantt chart by machine and date.
View the same schedule by order or machine. See current completion and at-risk orders, then adjust directly without comparing spreadsheets or paper records.
Shop-floor reporting updates actual progress. Filter late starts and finishes, while planners set priorities using the right information.
Assembly Line MES
Every station is recorded, from assembly and fastening to testing and packaging.
For products that pass through molding, machining, inspection, assembly, and packaging, full MES manages the complete route. Record quantities, yield, operators, and time at each station.

Implementation Starts with Understanding Your Shop Floor
01 Assess the Current State | Review machines, work orders, reporting methods, and bottlenecks.
02 Define the Scope | Start with machine connectivity, one key process, or a multi-stage workflow.
03 Test and Train | Validate real work orders and train managers and operators.
04 Go Live and Improve | Roll out in stages and refine exceptions, reports, and extensions.
SMB and MES Lite can start with a clearly defined scope. Full MES requires a tailored plan based on stations, integrations, and management needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1 Can every machine be connected to capture parameter data?
For injection molding machines, CNC machines, and PLCs, we first check the brand and model to confirm whether the controller can communicate and which signals are available. For machines that cannot communicate directly, we can also assess I/O modules, sensors, or manual input.
Q2 Can older machines be connected?
In our project experience, any machine can be connected. When direct communication with the controller is not possible, I/O modules or sensors can capture running, downtime, cycle, and output data.
Q3 We already have ERP. Do we still need MES?
ERP handles orders, purchasing, and accounting; MES handles shop-floor work orders, production reporting, machines, quality, and progress. The exact integration scope is defined when requirements are confirmed.
Q4 Short on shop-floor staff, with frequent paperwork errors or heavy rework. How can MES help?
Tablets, barcodes, or QR codes replace paper production reports, and production control dispatching goes digital at the same time. Work order progress, output, and abnormalities are reported in real time, so problems no longer surface only when paper records are checked the next day.
Q5 Will operators find it hard to use?
Screens are simplified by role, and reporting is usually done with tablets, barcodes, or QR codes. During testing we validate the flow with real work orders and arrange training.
Q6 How are scope and pricing determined?
We assess machine count, process stations, modules, integrations, and customization needs. A 30-minute demo clarifies your situation first, then we propose the scope and a quote.
Q7 What kind of factory is MES Lite for?
Factories that only need to manage one key process, such as injection molding. It brings together IoT, shop-floor reporting, work order progress, production dashboards, and daily reports, and can later expand to machine connectivity, quality, or warehousing as needed.
Q8 Can existing measuring or inspection equipment be integrated?
We first confirm the equipment brand, model, and data output format. For measuring tools that cannot be integrated directly, inspection results can be entered on a tablet or by barcode.
Q9 Can QMS replace paper inspection records?
Yes. Once inspection data is entered in real time, reports and trend analysis are generated automatically. No more manual transcription and compiling, and abnormalities can be traced faster.
Mold management system
Manage mold maintenance, repairs, locations, and production history in one system.

WMS warehouse management
Check where materials are, how much remains, and how long they have been stored.

Quality Management System
Digitize first-article, in-process, incoming, and outgoing inspections. Configure forms by product and complete them on tablets.

Parameter management system
Automatically record machine parameters for every work order, without manual copying.
Set standard parameters and limits by product and process. Capture temperature, pressure, speed, and other values and link them to work orders and MES data.
Assess sensors, digital gauges, or manual input for values that cannot be read directly. Build a foundation for parameter optimization and yield analysis.
